In-Service Educator
McLaren Thumb Region (formerly Huron Medical Center) in Bad Axe has an exciting part-time position (48 hours per pay period) for an In-Service Educator. Candidates must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan, with a BSN preferred. Candidates must be experienced with the planning, providing and the teaching of health oriented education. Five years Clinical experience preferred.
Provider Services Clinic Coordinator
McLaren Thumb Region (Formerly HMC) in Bad Axe has an exciting opportunity for a full time Provider Services Clinic Coordinator. Candidates must possess an associate degree from an accredited college or university with primary focus of Medical Assisting or Nursing, or Bachelor Degree in Health Care Administration preferred. Experience in physician/provider office practice operations to include billing, reception, coding, and customer service, minimum 5 years required. Prior documented leadership experience in employment or civic/voluntary group environment.
Full Time Maintenance/ Plant Operations.
Candidate must be a high school grad or GED equivalent. Must be proficient at troubleshooting various mechanical, electrical or electro-mechanical devices. Must be able to perform preventative maintenance, install and repair a wide variety of hospital equipment. Previous maintenance experience is strongly preferred. Must be able to respond to emergency call on a stand-by or on-call basis. Benefits include health, dental, vision, Rx, short and long term disability, life insurance, 401K and paid time off.
Registered Nurses

Full-time, First Shift. Must be a high school graduate plus a graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or have national certification as a surgical tech. New Grads Welcome.
Medical Technologist ($5,000 sign on bonus)
Must be a graduate from an approved medical technology program. One year of professional laboratory experience performing high complexity testing is preferred, alternatively a minimum of 3 to 6 months of laboratory experience as an intern in approved clinical setting. Successful completion of the National Registration as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist within a 6-month period post internship.
Medical Laboratory Technician ($5,000 sign on bonus)
Must be a graduate from an approved medical laboratory technician program. One year of professional laboratory experience performing high complexity testing is preferred, alternatively a minimum of 6 to 12 months of laboratory experience as an intern within a formal laboratory setting. Successful completion of the National Registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Clinical Laboratory Technician within a 6-month period post internship.
Clinical Assistant ****$1,000 Sign On Bonus****
Full and part-time Clinical Assistant. Candidate must be a graduate of accredited school of practical nursing or have completed a medical assistant program with certification preferred. Licensure or certification is to be maintained. Phlebotomy and billing strongly preferred. Customer Service and the ability to work well under pressure, to function dependently and independently and to be flexible in applying knowledge to a variety of settings involved with this position.
Lab Assistants
Part-time Lab Assistant, first shift and variable shifts. Experience with blood draws of patients of all ages including infants. High graduate. Certification preferred.
Nurse Extern
Candidate must be within 1 year of nursing school graduation. Part-time.
Central Registration Clerks
Part-time Central Registration Clerks to work variable shifts. Customer service and computer skills required. Prior hospital or physician office registration experience and medical terminology a plus.
General Utility- Food & Nutrition Services
Experience in food service required
Nurse Practitioners
Full and part time openings to provide care in clinics and hospital settings. Previous experience in emergency room or walk in clinic preferred. Candidate must be eligible to participate with all third party payors and be licensed in the State of Michigan. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Physician Assistants
Full and part time openings to provide care in clinic settings. Candidate must be eligible to participate with all third party payors and be licensed in the State of Michigan. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
